Remedial Works - removing barriers with practical solutions

We can undertake a range of remedial works that may be necessary including:

• The design of, building and/or installing ramps (with handrails as required) from a range of substances including concrete, tarmac, block paving and provision of temporary resin-based ramps
• Facilitating safe crossing points including dropped kerbs, painting flooring and installing bollards as required
• Supply and installation of tactile paving
• Installing assistive equipment including hand rails, grab rails, sanitary wares, automated light switches, door locks, RADAR locks
• Installing non-slip flooring
• Installing a service call facility
• Producing and erecting signage including Braille
• Highlighting demarcation zones
• Advising on, supplying and installing workplace equipment (eg desks, chairs, telephones, specialised computer equipment)

All of our site staff are UK PIA approved and Virosafe Ltd is a member of the Safe Contractor Scheme.  All works are carried out to BS8300 specification.
