Virosafe’s Charitable Activities
In September 2008, the MD and one of our Access Auditors – John and Ian – undertook the Trans-Pennine Trail on their push bikes! They pedalled from Hornsea to Southport over 3 days and finished by meeting with the Mayor of Warrington at Warrington Fire Station’s Open Day. These veterans of the pedal power cycled a total of 215 miles and raised nearly £700 for Age Concern.
A charitable activity has become an annual event at Virosafe. In 2007 John and Ian undertook a coast to coast (Ravenglass to South Shields) cycle trip in aid of the Warrington Disability Partnership. This time they cycled 175 miles over 2 and a half days! Watch this space for details of this year’s charity activity.
