Virosafe is instrumental in bringing a curriculum based educational programme to children at local schools

Virosafe has purchased 90 Barney and Echo, A Lesson Learned interactive educational books to help local children learn valuable social lessons with regard to drugs, tobacco and alcohol and choices that will affect them in later life.  The Barney and Echo series has been developed by the Police Community Clubs Great Britain to support parents and teachers in addressing Personal, Health, Social Education (PHSE) at key stage 1-2. The books follow the adventures of Barney Eagle and Echo Squirrel who live in Tree Top Forest. The books, which are designed to be fun and educational, can be used in a classroom setting or at home to support reading and discussion.

Barney and Echo, A Lesson Learned has already been delivered, free of charge, to a School in Runcorn and we will be delivering copies to a school in Ormskirk and one in Southport by the end of June 2009.
